Philip Levens' narrative begins in Lubbock, Texas, where his innate passion for storytelling first emerged. This interest, cultivated during his formative years, was further refined at The University of Texas in Austin. Upon graduating, he embarked on a pivotal journey to Los Angeles, the heart of the television industry, equipped with a distinctive blend of Texan determination and innovative vision.

A unique combination of kindness, visionary foresight, and a steadfast commitment to excellence marked his entry into television production. These attributes quickly propelled him to prominence within the industry. Renowned for his relentless work ethic and collaborative approach, he brought a distinctive quality to each project, significantly enhancing their impact and reach.

A key milestone in his career was creating and show-running “Ascension” for Universal and Lionsgate, a series now part of Netflix's expansive library. This project underscored his ability to lead and inspire a team to produce captivating content. His role as an executive producer alongside Jennifer Lopez on Paramount's “South Beach” further exemplified his aptitude for successful collaboration, culminating in a series that garnered widespread acclaim.

Additionally, his professional portfolio boasts over 20 television pilots sold to major networks like ABC, USA, Fox, and NBC. His contributions to series such as “Smallville,” “Wolf Lake,” “Night Visions,” and “Knight Rider” have resonated with global audiences, earning him a Saturn Award for “Smallville.”

Levens has collaborated with industry icons, including Ice Cube, Donnie Walberg, Jason Blum, Will and Jada Smith, and Michael Jackson. He has worked with studios like Imagine, Joel Silver, Marvel, Warner Bros, Universal, Disney, and Lionsgate. His film endeavors include adapting Patricia Highsmith’s “Found in the Street” and reworking the Wachowski Brothers’ “Vertical Run” at Warner Bros.
